The pharmaceutical company Novartis and the biotech company Biontech have signed a new production agreement.
As Novartis announced on Thursday, the filling and completion of the mRNA-based corona vaccine from Pfizer-Biontech will be expanded.
Basel - To this end, Novartis will use the sterile production facilities at its Ljubljana site in Slovenia to fill at least 24 million cans in 2022.
The new agreement follows on from previous supply agreements for the filling and completion of more than 50 million cans in 2021 at the Novartis Stein site in Switzerland.
