It was learned that after the outbreak of the crisis in July, the Elysee Palace ordered a freeze on a significant part of the political, security and intelligence contacts with Israel, and especially reciprocal visits until the issue is clarified.
In the months since, there have been quiet negotiations between Israel and France to end the affair. The person who led these contacts was Hulta in front of his French counterparts. The National Security Adviser's visit to Paris marked the first compromise of the crisis.
Israel provided France with further details regarding the investigation.

During the visit, Hulta presented his French counterpart with further clarifications on the NSO issue and sent him a proposal to resolve the crisis.
One of the clauses in the proposal is that Israel will pledge to France that any future contract for the export of offensive cyber to a third country will include a clause prohibiting the attack on French numbers, similar to what already exists today with the United States and Britain, according to senior Israeli officials.
