The Rhine bridge in Speyer was fully closed on Thursday morning because of several trucks standing crosswise.
According to the police, a trailer of a truck overturned on the bridge due to strong winds.
The trucks driving behind had to brake and came to a stop across the road.
Initially, the police were not yet aware of any injuries.
The entire bridge was closed for a short time.

In the direction of the Palatinate, however, considerable delays in traffic must still be expected.
