The fans of Christmas markets had to wait a long time for this.

After the corona-related total failure last year, this year you can indulge in the smell of mulled wine and Christmas music.

How exactly, there is still a big question mark in many places.

District

- The Christmas market in Fürstenfeldbruck takes place - but not as usual on the cattle market square, but on the fairground.

"We are planning a completely normal Christmas market, so we can keep larger distances there," says Jürgen Schröter, who is responsible for the markets in the town hall.

Fencing and 3G are currently not planned.

But one will wait and see what the Corona regulations require.

The Brucker Christkindlmarkt is open on the four Advent weekends (November 26th to December 19th) from Friday to Sunday.

It may be extended until December 22nd.

Christmas market in Germering

The Germeringer can enjoy the smell of mulled wine and Christmas carols again this year.

From November 27th to December 19th the Christmas market takes place in front of the town hall.

There will be no fence and entrance controls, says a city hall spokeswoman.

In order to offer the visitors more space, the market area will be enlarged.

This year there will also be stalls on the adjacent boules court.

But there are still some question marks.

So it is not yet sure whether there will be performances this year - for example those of the Amperchten.

"That depends on the infection rate and current regulations," said the spokeswoman.

Christmas market in Olching

The Christkindlmarkt in Olching will also be spatially rectified.

There is an Advent mood this year both on Nöscherplatz and in the Kaiserhof in front of the Hofpfisterei, according to a spokeswoman.

"The musical supporting program will take place at Nöscherplatz, a chainsaw artist and a blacksmith will be represented at the Kaiserhof," said a message.

The celebration takes place in Olching on all four Advent weekends - Fridays from 5 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Sternderlmarkt in Puchheim

Planning is already well advanced in Puchheim.

The Sternderlmarkt is planned for the first weekend in Advent.

The booth magic takes place in front of the Protestant church and in the PUC cultural center.

“However, we will be reducing the indoor range a little because of the corona pandemic,” explains Andrea Ritter from the PUC.

The market is open on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free admission.

Mountain Christmas in Türkenfeld

On the other hand, at the Türkenfelder Mountain Christmas, visitors have to shell out six euros for admission.

In return, the guests are offered a lot.

In addition to numerous stands, there are various attractions, explains organizer Robert Müller.

Blacksmiths, for example, present their skills, there are performances by dance schools and wind bands.

According to Müller, it is not yet clear which rules apply.

“I tend towards 3G +,” says the organizer.

"Then people can celebrate in a relaxed manner." That would mean that only vaccinated, convalescent and people with a PCR test would have access.

The market is open on the second, third and fourth weekend in Advent.

Müller wants to announce the exact rules at www.bergweihnacht.bergfestival.de.

Market concept in Emmering stands

The concept is already in place in Emmering.

The 3G + regulation applies there.

The market on the square in front of the community center is fenced off.

There are also access controls.

"It's more work for everyone, but it's better for the visitors," says Mayor Stefan Floerecke.

With this regulation, the guests could move completely freely and without a mask.

“This way, people can celebrate carefree again,” says the mayor.

The celebrations in Emmering are on December 11th from 2pm to 10pm and on December 12th from 12pm to 6pm.

Alternative for the Maisacher Advent

The Maisacher Advent as we know it will not take place this year. That is already certain, says Aline Schaumann from the Maisach town hall. “But we still want to do something, offer a bit of ambience that you can meet over a mulled wine.” That is why an alternative is being planned. The plan is to set up six huts on Rathausplatz and the Rathausgarten - normally there are 16. “Everything will take place outside,” explains Schaumann. There will be no exhibitors or sales of goods. "It depends on whether the clubs are interested in participating," said Schaumann. The alternative to Maischer Advent is planned for the third and fourth weekend in Advent.

As Schaumann reports, the winter magic on the Volksfestplatz will take place in the usual form.

The organizer can meet the requirements.

In addition, the area is fenced in so that the 3G rule can be implemented.

And that's how it works in Mammendorf

The decision has already been made in Mammendorf: there is a Christmas market.

However, this will not take place in the community center, but on the village square by the town hall, explains cultural advisor Anton Fasching.

The offer will also be reduced.

“There is no coffee and cake and no raffle,” explains Fasching.

For this, Santa Claus comes on both days this year.

The market is planned for December 4th and 5th.
