An explosion in the Afghan capital Kabul today caused a power outage in the country.
AFP quoted the Afghan Electricity Company, Prashna, as saying, "The explosion of an electricity pole in the Murad Beg Qala area in Kabul province caused a 220-kilovolt power line to be cut off, and consequently, the power was cut off in Kabul and some areas."
