The German Red Cross (DRK) wants to provide flood victims in the flood-damaged Ahr Valley with a daily warm meal until November 14th.
According to a DRK spokeswoman, a DRK spokeswoman said on Thursday that this provision of food will be "probably completely transferred to local structures."
At peak times, the aid organization had distributed a total of 10,000 to 13,000 hot portions, as well as breakfast and dinner, to dozens of locations in the disaster area.
Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler - During the floods after extremely heavy rain on July 14th and 15th, 134 people were killed and thousands of houses destroyed or damaged in the Ahr Valley.
