The Russian Defense Ministry announced the successful test-fire of the Bulava ballistic missile from a nuclear submarine in the White Sea in northern Russia.
The ministry said in a statement today reported by Sputnik Agency: The strategic missile submarine Knyaz Oleg, within the framework of government tests, launched the Bulava ballistic missile from the White Sea, noting that the missile was launched from underwater towards the Kura Square in the Kamchatka region, far east of Russia.
The statement stressed that, according to the data, the missile warheads successfully arrived at the specified area on time.
