The investigations into the death of an engineer from SNCF Réseau during the collapse of a construction site in Massy-Palaiseau (Essonne) in July have been reclassified as an investigation for "
manslaughter against X

research into the causes of death
" of this 54-year-old engineer, buried on July 25 on the construction site of a bridge near the tracks at Massy-Palaiseau, about 25 km to the south of Paris.
It reclassified in investigation for "

criminal breaches of labor law
".

On August 30, she was re-qualified for "manslaughter against X" and for "criminal breaches of labor law".
This requalification was motivated by initial feedback, a judicial source told AFP.
The search for the engineer's body had been tedious: it had been found five days after the accident.
