Since 8 a.m. on October 22nd, 14 emergency services from the Gröbenzell fire brigade had been busy processing storm damage.
The reason was Storm Depression Hendrik.
By 11.30 a.m., eleven missions, mostly fallen trees, had been recorded.
A special mission was certainly the evacuation of an S-Bahn.
"About 40 passengers had to be escorted from the S-Bahn on the Sonnenweg, from where the DB had organized the onward journey with buses," says commander Christian Weirauch.
A transporter was hit by a tree in the Fischerweg.
Nobody was injured, but there was considerable property damage.
