The consequences of the storm led to numerous police and fire services in Saxony-Anhalt on Thursday.
Shortly before 1 p.m., the district of Mansfeld-Südharz reported on around 60 volunteer fire brigade operations.
Up until this point in time, the operations control center in the Harz region had counted 72 missions - mostly under the heading “tree on the road”.

A tree injured a cyclist in Wittenberg.
A car with a trailer overturned near Löbejün (Saalekreis).
According to the police, the driver was unharmed.
