The autumn storm caused power outages in parts of Saxony.
Meißen, Riesa and Radeburg were affected, as SachsenEnergie announced on Thursday.
The reason for the disruption was therefore mostly falling trees or falling branches, which caused damage to overhead lines.
How many households were affected could not be said according to a spokeswoman in the afternoon.
Dresden - "The situation is dynamic," she said.
All available forces are used to repair lines and bring affected customers back to the grid by switching, it said.
It could take until the evening hours or until Friday until the complete supply is restored.
