Strong winds: orange vigilance over the northern half of France

Several departments are on orange vigilance for “strong winds”, particularly in the Paris region, in Champagne and in the Ardennes.

has placed four departments on orange vigilance for “violent winds”: Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse and Moselle.

Météo France adds the Val-d'Oise, Yvevlines, Essonne, Paris, Seine-et-Marne, Aisne and Ardennes.

The locally violent night gale in Haute-Normandie and south of Picardy shifts towards the Paris region, Champagne and the Ardennes.

At daybreak, the thermometer displays 8 to 16 degrees from the Belgian borders to the Mediterranean shore.

The maximums are generally between 14 and 19 degrees, close to 21 to 23 towards the Big Blue and Corsica.

A yellow wave-submersion vigilance is also marked out for Finistère, Morbihan and Seine-Maritime due to worsening sea conditions and rising sea levels.
