The Damascus regime has executed 24 people accused of causing criminal forest fires in late summer 2020, the official Syrian agency SANA said on Thursday.

The 24 "
criminals
" were executed on Wednesday, according to the Syrian agency.
They are accused of having "
committed terrorist acts
" by causing fires with flammable materials which "
caused deaths and destroyed state infrastructure and public property,
" the agency added.
