The Thai government wants to facilitate the entry procedure for the tourism restart on November 1st.
The "Thailand Pass" should help with this.
From November 1st, vaccinated travelers from selected countries can re-enter Thailand - including Germans.
So far, holidays in Thailand have only been possible within the framework of model projects such as the Phuket Sandbox and under strict conditions.
In order to make the procedure a little easier for tourists, the complicated “Certificate of Entry” should be replaced by the “Thailand Pass”.

Precise details of the entry conditions, which should apply from November 1st for travelers from countries with a low risk of infection, have yet to be specified.

Previously, travelers had to apply for their entry with the "Certificate of Entry" at Thai embassies and consulates.
The application had to contain, among other things, a copy of the passport, the tourist visa, a foreign health insurance as well as a flight and hotel booking.
