Two more detainees have been released, suspected of involvement in the murder of the boy Nissim Sheetrit and Avi Edri - 35 years ago in Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court rejected the police request, and released the suspect who was arrested last night on suspicion of involvement in the murder.

Police will file an appeal to the district court, and a hearing is expected to take place tomorrow (Friday) morning.

Another suspect, who was also arrested tonight, was released at the end of his interrogation under five-day house arrest.

The two arrested are residents of Jerusalem and Petah Tikva, in their sixties.

One of them belongs to the Shuvu Banim community, and the other has belonged in the past.

Their arrest has been added to a series of arrests made by the police since the beginning of the week, when the murder investigations moved from the covert stage to the overt stage.

As you may recall, Sheetrit disappeared in 1986, a few months after he filed a complaint of assault against the chastity guards of Shuvu Banim, and even identified his attackers.

His body has not been found to this day, but his brother, Meir Sheetrit, recorded one of the suspects arrested when he tells him that his brother was murdered.

The recording was played in the documentary that aired about a year and a half ago here 11 of the corporation.

Avi Edri's body was found in Ramot Forest in 1990, and it is also suspected in this incident that the chastity guards of Shuvu Banim murdered him, after they suspected that he was associating with married women.

As mentioned, earlier this week, two men and a woman were arrested in the 1960s on suspicion of murder, conspiracy and kidnapping.

The woman admitted in her interrogation that she was forced to serve as a seduction girl to attract the murdered.

One of the two men arrested is very close to the head of the Shuvu Banim community, Berland, who is also expected to be questioned in the case later on.

The three's detention was extended until Sunday.

An appeal filed by the woman's attorney in the Jerusalem District Court was granted, and her detention was shortened until Thursday.

The court recently extended her detention again by four days.

On Tuesday, three more men were arrested, two residents of Jerusalem and a third resident of Haifa.

One of the detainees is the son of a former minister.

His detention was extended until Sunday, and the detention of the second suspect was also extended.

The third was released at the end of his interrogation.
