The daughter of the ancient city of Aleppo, and during an interview with SANA, confirmed that the Syrian song retains its distinctive position and its special imprint on all people and musicians, and it is still brilliant and steadfast despite all the difficulties and challenges.
Regarding the reality of the Syrian song during the war years, Barmada saw that it preserved its originality and established itself in a prestigious position, despite being affected, like other arts, by the surrounding circumstances, noting the role of many Syrian singers who spread our song in the Arab world through their beautiful voices to remain present and strongly present in every time and place.
Since its artistic beginnings, Barmada has dealt with great Arab poets and composers for their belief in her talent, such as Samir Sfeir, Nizar Francis, Walid Saad, the late Khaled Al-Bakri, Karim Al-Iraqi and Muhammad Rahim, to be able to achieve a lot of what she aspires to, stressing at the same time that she still has many lyrical works that she intends to implement in the future. .
Despite her performance of all kinds of singing, the Aleppo color remains inherent to her in her artistic concerts and musical evenings, because it is a “distinguished school that includes Tarab, Qodd, Muwashahat, and others that have gained wide fame in the world.”
Barmada had a distinguished experience with a group of Syrian artists, performing a song calling for the rejection of bullying and the acceptance of people of different shapes, colors, and races. To return it again when there is a new experience and a beautiful idea.
Regarding her participation in the performance of the TV badges, she described this experience as very beautiful, especially as she was with the musician Taher Mamli and the great late Elias Rahbani, who excelled in placing the badges of dozens of works that were popular in the Arab world, considering that the beauty of the badge song and the stardom of the singer who performs it gives a special spirit to work without Ignoring the importance of graphic music and its great role in communicating the situation to the audience.
Barmada revealed that she had received many movie offers, but she did not agree to any role because she "did not find any role that would serve her" as a singer, noting the difficulty of entering the world of acting in the presence of Syrian actresses, some of whom achieved international fame.
However, Barmada points out that in the heart of every singer there is a small actor and that she is ready to embody an acting role as an artist's life story or any character that benefits her career, pointing out that she loves acting, as she, as a singer, relies in her video clips on expression by singing.
Barmada denies her lack of media appearances, but she is working hard to accurately program her to talk about her newness in the world of singing, noting that she has recently stopped all her artistic activities to focus on the opera house concert that she recently revived.
