The morbidity data continues to decline and yesterday 1,021 new verified patients were diagnosed in Israel, out of about 97,000 tests • The percentage is positive: 1.05, and the R is 0.75% • Despite this, the government fears the new sub-variant, mainly due to lack of information about it

Morbidity data from Corona in Israel continue to decline, and it seems that in the coming days we may cross the 1,000-verified threshold per day from below, a threshold set by the government to continue easing the economy.

However, the new Delta sub-variant that has been discovered in recent days around the world - and in Israel in one child who returned from Moldova - continues to worry the health system, mainly due to concerns that it may be more resistant to vaccines, something that has not yet been tested.
