The police rapist in Nahariya was charged with murder

An indictment was filed in the Haifa District Court against Nissim Sah, a resident of Araba, for trampling to death the volunteer policeman Hossam Zagier and seriously injuring policeman Amir Abu Rish during Sukkot.

The prosecution attributes to him the offenses of murder, abandonment and obstruction of justice.

An indictment was filed in the Haifa Magistrate's Court this morning (Thursday) against Nissim Sah, 44, of Araba, for trampling to death in Nahariya the 32-year-old volunteer policeman Hossam Zagier and seriously injuring 42-year-old policeman Amir Abu Rish, both from Mirka in the Western Galilee.

The Coastal District Central Unit, which investigated the incident, attributed to Sach murder offenses, abandonment after injury, obstruction of justice and more.

The crash occurred during Sukkot.

The details of the investigation into the incident indicate that Zagier and Abu Rish were called to Aliya Street in Nahariya following complaints from neighbors about noise created by workers who worked at a construction site on the site.

Five workers who were at the site worked on laying a drainage pipe, due to infrastructure work being carried out at the site to combat the repeated floods in the city.

The workers apparently caused a great deal of noise, and neighbors called police to complain.

After the two policemen arrived, the workers called their foreman, Sah.

At this point, urgency began between Sach and the police.

The contractor got into the vehicle, ran over the officers and fled.

He was later arrested with the vehicle that hit the Shlomi area.

"I had a bad feeling when the workers started texting," policeman Abu Rish, who is still hospitalized due to his injury, repeated this week. I asked him who he is and he said he is the contractor and asked his workers. I told him they are without permits and he said 'there is no situation, they have'. Show me a permit from the municipality but I explained to him that I am talking about a permit to enter the country. My name, recognized me as a healer, gave me names of people and asked if I wanted him to talk to them. I did not respond. At one point he told me 'do what you want, I go.' My".

According to the indictment, Sah began to move to his vehicle, which was driven, with the police trying to prevent him from doing so, while the police informed him that he was under arrest and even tried to handcuff him. It also appears that Sah shouted at the policeman and said, among other things, "no stopping and nothing," and later got back into the vehicle while closing the door while volunteer Zagier began walking toward the back of the vehicle and tried to keep the complaining resident standing there and filmed what was happening.

Meanwhile, Sah started driving backwards with the car door open, ran over Officer Abu Rish and police volunteer Zagier and fled the scene. The policeman managed to shout, "Mobility will arrive as soon as possible, mobility," and collapsed. Body cameras that were on the policemen, cameras of the Nahariya municipality documented the incident, as well as a mobile phone of a passer-by in which they see parts of the chain of events that led to the policeman and the volunteer being run over. The documentation shows Sach starting with a fast ride backwards, so Zagier was thrown to the floor.At this point the camera stops filming but what was enough was used in the case against the accused in the murder.
