In a statement to SANA's reporter, a source in the Electricity Company confirmed the gradual start of supplying the areas with electricity after two days of interruption due to the failure of the tension line in the reservoir area 80 km southwest of Al-Hasakah at the administrative borders separating the governorates of Al-Hasakah and Al-Raqqa.
The tension line 230 Tabqa - Doors is the main source that is relied upon to feed the cities and neighborhoods of the governorate, since the quantities produced in the Swedish generation facility are allocated to the excluded service lines to ensure the continuation of providing services to citizens.
On the other hand, Al-Khabour Association for Development honored a number of emergency workers in the Electricity Company in appreciation of their efforts in maintaining the electrical network.
The Chairman of the Society's Board of Directors, Martin Tamris, stated that the honoring comes within the activities of the Al-Khair initiative and under the direct supervision of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, as it included the distribution of school bags containing various stationery materials to the families of emergency workers, in honor of their efforts in the electricity sector.
