Those interested can currently walk this educational trail in Memmingen.
The project was implemented by the city of Memmingen and the Europa-Union Bayern and will soon change location again.
In Stadtpark Neue Welt, Mayor Manfred Schilder and Dr.
Ute Hartenberger, state manager of the Europa-Union Bayern eV, Burkhard Arnold, chairman of the Europa-Union Memmingen and with Alexandra Hartge, head of the city's European office, who worked very hard for the touring exhibition, the touring exhibition with the eight display boards around the small lake opened.
What is this traveling exhibition about?
Essentially about the fundamental values of the European Union such as democracy, human rights, respect for human dignity and the rule of law.
During this walk, visitors can also find out about the tasks and successes of the European Union on the eight display boards.
As the mayor pointed out, this hiking trail is particularly aimed at young people, who should also help shape their future.
"Europe is our future," he said, pointing out that politics will not be in the hands of current politicians for too long and that a new generation will take over everything.
Schilder urged the students of the Staatliche Realschule, the Wirtschaftsschule and the Vöhlin-Gymnasium, who were present at the opening, to get to know Europe and to make friends in the neighboring countries.
Because only friendships and close ties between countries would promote peace and tolerance.

Ute Hartenberger and Burkhard Arnold from the Europa-Union would like to introduce the school classes to the topic of Europe.
“The important thing is the discussion in schools,” said Ute Hartenberger.
The European Union is a multi-generational project and young people must be enthusiastic about it.
Burkhard Arnold affirmed: "There is no alternative to democracy".
The values of the rule of law, fundamental rights and democracy are indispensable.
And only a united Europe will still play a role in the world in the future.
Visitors can look at the information boards on the site of the former state horticultural show until November 7, 2021, which then - so the hope - will also stimulate one or the other to think.
