The Tegernsee spa and supply companies (TKV), which are one hundred percent owned by the city, are a flourishing company.

The city council now spoke of an “excellent earnings situation”.

Tegernsee

- The annual surplus that the spa and supply companies achieved in 2020 is around 1.436 million euros. Managing Plant Manager Manfred Pfeiler has now presented the annual financial statements for 2020 to the city council. The fact that Pfeiler and Johannes Hagn (CSU), who is managing director by virtue of his office as mayor, were unanimously exonerated was a matter of form.

Three areas belong to the TKV: lake sauna and lido, whereby monte mare Tegernsee GmbH as operator is 50 percent owned by TKV.

Then the traffic division with the Tegernsee Bahn Betriebs GmbH (TBG, 45 percent belongs to the TKV) and the parking lots and finally participations in the E-Werk Tegernsee Carl Miller KG (97.96 percent), the E-Werk Tegernsee sales and Service-KG (97.96 percent) and E-Werk Tegernsee Vertriebs-KG (50 percent).

“All companies are healthy,” said Pfeiler.

Corona closure brings the lake sauna a minus of 55.57 percent

The wellness temple is extremely popular.

In 2019, 97,814 visitors came on 357 opening days, an average of 274 a day.

That meant an increase of 3.84 percent compared to the previous year.

In 2020 the lake sauna was closed from March 17th to July 23rd and then again from November 2nd due to Corona.

Only 43,463 visitors (minus 55.57 percent) on 177 opening days and an average of 246 visitors a day are on the balance sheet.

The consequence of the closure times: Decline in sales and material costs.

Lake sauna: Since the reopening, things have been going up steeply

According to the pillar, the company and the monte mare Tegernsee received state aid.

The balance sheet shows sales totaling around 1.6 million euros.

After deducting all expenses and expenses, however, there was a negative result of just under 276,000 euros.

However, according to Pfeiler, this could be offset within the framework of a cross-tax system.

The prognosis for this year is positive for pillars.

"Since it reopened on July 7th, things have been going uphill, we have a strong influx again." In figures: The lake sauna was open 86 days until September.

18,149 visitors came, that is an average of 211 visitors a day.

Traffic division generates sales of around 17,000 euros

This division has sales of around 17,000 euros.

However, it closes with a negative financial result of around 50,700 euros, which justifies pillar with continued interest payments through the purchase of the Tegernseebahn (TBG).

However, this year TBG will repay a loan of around 1.85 million euros to TKV, which in turn will increase its bank holdings.

This is how it looks with the investments

The financial result here amounts to around 2.4 million euros.

It consists of the pro-rata annual result of the sales and service KG of the E-Werk amounting to around 1.8 million euros and the proportionate annual result of the E-Werk Tegernsee Carl Miller KG of around 582.00 euros.

According to Manfred Pfeiler, a tax audit has taken place in all companies.

This did not result in any complaints.
