Sentenced in 2020 for the murder of her spouse, Alexandra Richard, 43, tried on appeal, recounted on Friday October 22 the violence and death threats made by the victim on the day of the tragedy.
That day, “
I tell him that I can't take it anymore.
I try to apologize (for damaging) the quad (in an accident).
I tell him that I love him.
I tell him I'm going to leave him, that I can't live like this anymore.
He said to me: “If you leave me, you will go out with your feet in front.
You are going to see (...) I am going to kill you "
", said in tears this mother of three children, from her glass box in front of the assizes of the Eure.

Alexandra Richard was sentenced in November 2020 by the Seine-Maritime Assize Court for the murder, with a hunting rifle, of her 36-year-old spouse on October 16, 2016, at their home in Montreuil-en-Caux.
The latter, in a state of intoxication, had just risen from his chair, threatening to "
kick his ass
", she had then explained.
On the fourth day of her appeal trial, the accused explained that the previous week "
the climate was extremely tense
" following a quad bike accident that the accused had: "
He was very angry with me
".
"Do you have to make an appointment to fuck?"

On Sunday morning, he wasn't happy because we hadn't had sex for a few days.
I got up first.
He came to see me outside: “Do you have to make an appointment to fuck?
I need your body ”.
And we came back to quad biking: “You're a big shit.
You are going to buy me a quad ”.
It was just that all morning.
I took care
”of their little boy, now 6 years old, said Alexandra Richard.
According to her account, her husband began to drink at noon and the accused then told her that she was going to leave him.

He put my head on the gun cabinet when I had the little one: 'Go ahead, choose which one you want to die with'.
He pushed me onto the couch.
He slapped (the child) who was making noise as he tapped on the table.
We both went up to his room.
It is mounted.
He said to me: “Come and suck me”.
He wanted a blowjob.
I told him no.
He kicked me with his foot.
I fell.
He left.
I continued to take care of my little boy,
”she continued.
"I am broken"

It was the alcohol that made him mean.
When he drank, he was an uncontrollable demon
”, also declared Alexandra Richard.
The accused then expressed regret.
"He
could be a wonderful man (...) I blame myself terribly for having seized this weapon.
I took the man from my life.
I kidnapped the father
(of three children, Editor's note).
There are no words strong enough to express how broken I am.
I'm sorry.
But the word is not powerful enough
, ”she concluded.

The victim also had two children from a previous marriage, aged 13 and 16.
Questioned by the president of the court, the accused said that she did not remember having pulled the trigger.
“
When I grabbed the gun, I opened it.
I loaded it (...) He fired on the cannon and the shot was fired.
That's where I dropped the gun,
”said Alexandra Richard.
Thursday the ballistics expert clarified that it was necessary to press the trigger for the shot to go.
"
When it bothers her, she does not remember
," commented Sylvie Amisse-Duval the lawyer for the victim's children.
"
I suffered a shock,
" said the accused.
The verdict is expected Friday evening or Saturday.
