On October 21, at the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, more than 60 countries spoke together, supporting China's position on Xinjiang-related, Hong Kong-related, and Tibet-related issues, and opposed interfering in China's internal affairs under the pretext of human rights.

On the 22nd, China commented that this fully embodies fairness and freedom.

On October 22, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin presided over a regular press conference.

Wang Wenbin stated that on October 21, at the 76th UN General Assembly Third Committee meeting, Cuba made a joint speech on behalf of 62 countries, emphasizing that Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and Tibet affairs are China’s internal affairs and that outsiders should not interfere and support China’s presence in Hong Kong. The Special Administrative Region implements "One Country, Two Systems" and opposes the politicization of human rights issues and double standards. It opposes politically motivated and unreasonable accusations against China based on false information, and opposes interference in China's internal affairs under the pretext of human rights.

In addition, more than 30 countries have supported China through individual speeches and joint letters.

Following the 48th session of the Human Rights Council a few days ago, nearly a hundred countries once again voiced justice in the United Nations, expressing their support for China's legitimate position, which fully demonstrated justice and freedom.

Wang Wenbin pointed out that a few Western countries continue to attack China on Xinjiang-related issues based on false information and rumors, and interfere in China's internal affairs under the guise of human rights. China firmly opposes this.

China's determination to safeguard national sovereignty, security, and development interests is unwavering, and their plans will not succeed.

China urges these countries to earnestly reflect on their own serious human rights issues, earnestly abide by the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and the basic norms of international relations, and truly do something useful for the healthy development of international human rights.
