Hamburger SV has continued its small series of successes in the 2nd Bundesliga and remained undefeated in the eighth game in a row.
The North Germans won on Friday evening in a game marked by spectacular offensive actions at SC Paderborn with 2: 1 (1: 1) and improved to fifth place in the table for the time being.
The Ostwestfalen remained without a win in the fourth home game in a row and missed the jump to a direct promotion place.
Paderborn - In front of 13,000 spectators in the Benteler Arena, Moritz Heyer (5th minute) and Tommy Doyle (90th + 4) scored the goals for Hamburg, Felix Platte (38th) scored for the hosts.

Turbine Potsdam scored a hard-fought home win on matchday four in the women's Bundesliga.
In the duel against table neighbors SGS Essen, the team of coach Sofian Chahed won 3: 2 (0: 1) after a 2-0 deficit in front of 1258 spectators in the Karl Liebknecht Stadium.
With the second win of the season, the turbines overtook Essen in the table.

Despite being in the lead twice, 1. FC Saarbrücken missed the leap onto a promotion place in the third soccer league.
In a turbulent Friday evening game, the Saarlanders parted 2: 2 (1: 0) from Eintracht Braunschweig.
The 2: 2 fell shortly before the end through an own goal by Pius Krätschmer (85th minute).
