Two eventful years lie behind the Catholic Women's Association Hohenkammer - despite Corona.

But now you want to get started again.

Hohenkammer

- The Catholic women in Hohenkammer form a lovable, active association that has not been thrown off course even during the crisis of the past year and a half.

One or the other event was also possible during Corona times, and at the general assembly of the members, the chairwoman Andrea Obermaier said that they wanted to start fully again in the new year.

The ladies were by no means inactive: they have been out and about in the past few months and have organized, among other things, the installation of a book cell in Hohenkammer.

Andrea Obermaier was immediately attested to the importance of the association during a visit to the discarded telephone booth in Beilngries: "I said Catholic women, and then we were immediately given off 300 euros." Then there was the Hohenkammer community, which paid the association a purchase price of 600 euros and a local handyman set up the phone booth without billing for it.

Obermaier has already announced a small opening party when the book booth is set up.

At the moment, the association is thinking about which books you want to equip it with, as there should be something for everyone.

In the coming year the contributions will go up

This year, the association canceled the cinema and the Advent celebration due to the uncertain Corona situation.

For this, the chairwoman would like to return to normality in the club's program in 2022.

For 2022, the chairman announced that the contributions would have to be increased from 25 to 37 euros.

"The KfD Association has already achieved a great deal for women," said Obermaier, pointing out that the contribution is still one of the cheapest clubs.

In the local association, which has 147 members, she does not expect resignations, even with the new contributions.

"Compared to other clubs, we were incredibly active during Corona," said the secretary Ulrike Schweinzer about the past year.

Before the lockdown, you celebrated Mardi Gras (“One last laugh before the hard time”), and then you were allowed to hold a prayer during the lockdown with special rules.
