The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week was 61.0 on Friday - after 57.1 on Thursday, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
Within one day, 2284 new corona cases were registered in the most populous federal state.
Düsseldorf - There have been 28 deaths related to Covid-19.
The value also climbed further in the federal government - to now 95.1.
The highest incidence in North Rhine-Westphalia was recorded in the Minden-Lübbecke district (130.9), the city of Hagen (106.0) and the Lippe district (105.8).
For the state capital Düsseldorf, the RKI reported the fourth highest value in North Rhine-Westphalia with 91.1.
An incidence of 76.0 was reported for the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Cologne.
The index was lowest in the districts of Wesel (29.8), Kleve (31.6) and Coesfeld (34.4).
