The Thuringian Ministry of Health and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians have recommended that all unvaccinated residents of the country have a corona vaccination for "safe holidays" at the end of the year.

The ministry in Erfurt announced on Friday that anyone who had the first vaccination by November 18 would receive the follow-up vaccination by December 9, so that complete vaccination protection would be in place on Christmas Eve.

Erfurt - And if you pick up your first Piks by November 25th, you will get the follow-up vaccination by December 16th.

Then there is complete immunization at the turn of the year.

Although great progress has already been made, the current vaccination rate in the country is not yet sufficient to get through autumn and winter safely, said Health Minister Heike Werner (Linke).

She therefore calls for people to be vaccinated in November.

"Every Saturday in the Thuringian vaccination centers for the whole family is possible without an appointment," explained Werner.
