The central service of this year's Ecumenical Peace Decade will take place on November 17th in the Ludwigslust city church.
The motto for 2021 is "Reach Peace".
"This year's motto raises the question of which social and political changes are necessary for the biblical peace idea on earth," said the theologian Marina Kiroudi from the Working Group of Christian Churches (ACK) on Friday.
Ludwigslust - The divine service is organized by representatives of various churches - Protestant, Catholic, New Apostolic, Orthodox and Reformed.
According to the information, invitations to events, concerts, exhibitions, devotions and services on the occasion of the Peace Decade will be held throughout Germany from November 7th to 17th under the symbol “Swords to Plowshares”.
