He was on trial for drugs - he did not appear at the trial for drugs: the police had to bring a Geretsrieder to the trial.
Geretsried - A 22-year-old Geretsried should have appeared in the Wolfratshausen district court on Wednesday morning.
He is accused of violating the Narcotics Act.
But the young man shone through his unexcused absence - a patrol was able to clear up the matter during a home visit.
Geretsried: Drug users stay away from court - because of drug use
The presiding judge had sent the patrol from the Geretsried police station to the defendant's place of residence on Wednesday in order to "wake him up or bring him to court," said a police spokesman.
But even before the 22-year-old's doorstep, the officials noticed “the clear smell of a well-known plant that is subject to the Narcotics Act”.
Police pick up 22-year-olds: he has used drugs again
The patrol instructed the sleepy-looking tenant about his obligation to appear in court and took the opportunity to take a look around at Geretsrieder: The police secured both the "flowering plant" and utensils that suggested drug abuse.
The 22-year-old had "undoubtedly" again violated the Narcotics Act.
First we went to the district court in the patrol car. "Nothing can be reported at the moment," said a police spokesman.
But: Another procedure against the 22-year-old has been initiated.
"In view of the established facts" it is "very likely" that the young man from Geretsried will again receive a summons from the local court.
