Tensions in the Likud continue to be expressed and former Knesset member and health minister Yuli Edelstein today (Friday) once again challenges former Likud chairman and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
MK Yuli Edelstein today responded to the remarks of Likud chairman Netanyahu from the MUNI EXPO conference of the local government center, according to which the Likud may be in opposition for three and a half years, and said: "So even though we have 72 seats on the right, we should sit in opposition for three and a half years "Can the left destroy the Jewish state? We will not allow it to materialize. This disastrous government must be dismantled right now!"
It should be noted that Netanyahu's full words did not claim that it would take the Likud to return to power within three and a half years, but that "it could take another two weeks or another three and a half years."

Tensions between MK Edelstein and Likud chairman Netanyahu reached a peak this month after Edelstein announced his intention to face former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the next Likud presidency.
It should be noted that a few days after Edelstein's statement, a poll was published in the news edition of Channel 12, after which Edelstein published a reference in which he wrote: "The Channel 12 poll published tonight clearly proves what I claimed last night. Lapid or I. If we do not do what is necessary now - the Likud will stay out! "
