The HSV is gradually gaining momentum.
The Hanseatic League, undefeated for eight games, celebrated a late 2-1 victory in a high-class game at SC Paderborn.
Paderborn coach Tim Walter threw up both arms and shouted his joy, the players celebrated in front of the fan curve. With a last-minute goal by substitute Tommy Doyle, Hamburger SV continued its small series of successes in the 2nd Bundesliga and remained undefeated in the eighth game in a row. However, five of the eight HSV games ended in a draw.
The winning goal scorer was overjoyed.

Coach Walter was also totally satisfied.
"We played a great game and believed in ourselves until the end," said the coach.
The Ostwestfalen, on the other hand, remained without a win in the fourth home game in a row and missed the jump to a direct promotion place.
In front of 13,000 spectators in the Benteler Arena, Moritz Heyer (5th minute) and Doyle (90th + 4) scored the goals for Hamburg, Felix Platte (38th) scored for the hosts.
"HSV had more chances, but a point for us would have been deserved," said Platte.
