The number of corona patients in intensive care units in Baden-Württemberg remains below the 250 mark, which is important for calling out the so-called warning level with stricter rules, especially for unvaccinated people.
According to data from the State Health Office on Friday (as of 4 p.m.), 211 Covid 19 sufferers were in intensive treatment, eleven fewer than the day before.
Stuttgart - If the 250 is reached or exceeded on two consecutive working days, the stricter measures come into force nationwide.
Then contact restrictions would apply again: a household would only be able to meet five other people.

The even sharper alarm level is called when the hospitalization incidence reaches or exceeds 12.0 on five working days in a row or the occupancy rate of the intensive care beds in Baden-Württemberg is 390 or more on two consecutive working days. Saturdays are not considered working days within the meaning of the Baden-Württemberg Corona Ordinance.
The seven-day incidence of new corona infections was 128.0 on Friday and was thus higher than the previous day (122.9).
The value indicates how many new infections with the coronavirus per 100,000 inhabitants were reported to the authorities within a week.
The number of confirmed corona cases since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 3398 to 610,640.
In connection with the virus, 10,882 people have died in the southwest - that's nine more than the previous day.
According to estimates, 571,515 people are considered recovered (plus 1,513).
