The heart of the Bremen Corona vaccination success, the large vaccination center in exhibition hall 7, has stopped working.
The health department announced that the last vaccinations against the coronavirus were given there on Friday afternoon.
Since opening on December 28, 2020, around 470,000 vaccinations have been carried out in the center.

With 77.5 percent fully vaccinated residents, Bremen was also at the top of the federal states on Friday, according to the Robert Koch Institute.
"I look forward to the closure of the vaccination center with pride and a mixture of joy and sadness," said Bernhard.
The staff of the vaccination campaign also sat in Hall 7.
In the smallest federal state, authorities, relief organizations, the armed forces and the local economy worked particularly closely together.
