A 51-year-old was found at the airport in Hamburg with marijuana hidden in batteries.
As the police announced on Friday, the man was on his way to the Spanish Canary Island of Lanzarote and underwent controls at the airport.
The staff noticed four suspicious batteries in his hand luggage, which could be opened with a screw cap and which contained the intoxicant.
Hamburg - The batteries and 2.4 grams of marijuana were secured on Tuesday.
The traveler must now answer for an offense against the Narcotics Act and received a criminal complaint.
