MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station has a train failure. The Tuen Ma Line once required additional travel time

At 8:48 am today (22nd), a MTR spokesperson pointed out that there was a train failure at Tsim Sha Tsui East Station on the Tuen Ma Line and the current train service on the Tuen Ma Line was delayed. The MTR indicated that the Tuen Ma Line service was blocked, including Tuen Mun Station to Nam Cheong Station every 8 minutes


At 8:48 am today (22nd), a MTR spokesperson pointed out that there was a train failure at Tsim Sha Tsui East Station on the Tuen Ma Line and the current train service on the Tuen Ma Line was delayed.

The MTR said that the Tuen Ma Line services are blocked, including Tuen Mun Station to Nan Cheong Station every 8 minutes, Nan Cheong Station to Hung Hom Station every 20 minutes, and Hung Hom Station to Wu Kai Sha Station every 6 minutes.

As for the overall travel time of the Tuen Ma Line, it is estimated that it will take an additional 10 to 15 minutes.

By 9:17 in the morning, the MTR said that the train that had broken down near the East Tsim Sha Tsui Station on the Tuen Ma Line had been removed from the traffic lane, and the train service of the Tuen Ma Line was gradually returning to normal.
