Unable to access the social network via a web browser for a week. The Californian company always explains to seek in int

A message in English that is repeated on each connection attempt and a door that remains closed.

Several Twitter users have been unable to log into their accounts since last week.

The error alert (“Something went wrong, but don't fret - let's give it another shot”) indicates that there is indeed a problem and offers to try again, but to no avail.

The incident, which is very frustrating for users, has been going on for a good week.

The Downdetector and Totalbug sites have been reporting connection problems since last Thursday and are collecting testimonials from frustrated users.

“I always have the message“ Something went wrong, but don't fret ”explains Jon for example“ When I manage to delete this message by blocking Twitter cookies, Twitter appears to me with a blank page regardless of the browsers ".

The bugs seem to be focused on connections from PCs and Internet browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

But other members of the platform are having the same problem on their smartphones.

Some manage to reconnect while in private browsing, others go through an update of their password and obtain temporary access.

This message is displayed when a connection does not go through.

Asked by the Parisian, Twitter does not give an explanation for this continuing situation.

The Californian group assures that “its engineers are looking for a solution” and are trying to understand why this important bug affects users in a different way.

No date is given for a return to normal.
