- Now the care landscape for Moosburg children has one option: In the vicinity of the outdoor pool, the new nature kindergarten recently received its church blessing.

In the future, up to 40 kindergarten children will be looked after here, whereby the form of pedagogy is somewhere between a forest kindergarten and a conventional kindergarten.

When looking at the small wagon castle on Stadtbadstrasse, it quickly became clear that Moosburg's nature kindergarten is something completely different from a forest kindergarten.

Three wagons in the middle of nature

The forest groups usually only have a construction trailer as a safe place of refuge when there are storms.

The nature kindergarten, on the other hand, consists of three carriages that are arranged in a U-shape and have beautiful covered terrace areas in front of the premises.

At the festive consecration of the kindergarten, future users could already enjoy their first snack here.

The third car is the functional part of the facility.

The prominent guests from the city council were very impressed by the spacious and beautifully designed rooms.

However, director Katrin Sellmaier makes it clear that the two kindergarten groups will spend most of their time in the Bonau Forest.

In the first days of operation, you have already extensively explored the nature in the neighborhood.

The nearby airfield on the Kipp should also be a regular destination for children.

25 of 40 places already occupied

The start already shows that the idea of ​​a natural kindergarten is an interesting option for Moosburg families.

Of the maximum of 40 places in the nature kindergarten, 25 are already occupied, and two more children will be added in the next week.

With these 27 children and currently six supervisors in a young, motivated team, you will then “hibernate”.

Because only in March there will be the next acclimatization phase for new children.

The nature kindergarten cost 400,000 euros

Mayor Josef Dollinger was pleased "that this kindergarten could really be realized very quickly and inexpensively".

At 400,000 euros, the city is a fraction of the expenses for the classic kindergarten in the Amperauen development area.

"When you see this wagon castle here, it has become a great facility," says the mayor of the kindergarten, which is run by the city.

Finding staff is difficult

The operating hours of the house are Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dollinger makes it clear that if there is a corresponding demand, another nature kindergarten could become an issue.

In Moosburg there is a shortage of more than 100 kindergarten places.

With a nature kindergarten, new groups could start quickly.

However, finding staff is the city's greatest difficulty.
