Weather in Bavaria: The last gusts of wind are still moving across the country

Friday started wet, especially in the south. It can rain near the Alps until the afternoon, writes the German Weather Service (DWD) in its forecast. In the north of the Free State he is still issuing an "official warning of gusts of wind". In Upper and Lower Franconia, wind speeds * of up to 60 km / h can still occur. The warning is valid until 6 p.m. In locations over 1000 meters in the Bavarian Forest and in the low mountain ranges, the wind whistles even more properly. There is an “official warning of squalls” until midnight at speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour.

Today temperatures are in the low double-digit range.

In the middle of Bavaria the cloud cover even breaks up from time to time and the sun shines.

At night the values ​​go down to six degrees in Nuremberg * and minus one degree in Kempten.

So ground frost can occur especially in the south of the Free State.

Meteorologist Jung has a clear answer to this. “Weeks ago there was speculation in some media about an early onset of winter. We have to reject these speculations again. ”The expert predicts that it will not be winterly cold until mid-November, nor will a new autumn storm be in store for us. But on the contrary.
