Pavel Dotchev becomes the sporting director of the second division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue.
The Saxons announced on Friday evening after their 1-0 win over FC Ingolstadt.
The 56-year-old will start his job on November 1st.
In addition, Dotchev will be employed as head coach on an interim basis, replacing Carsten Müller, who can again concentrate fully on his work as head of the youth training center.
Aue - As team leader, Marc Hensel remains in a responsible position at the bank.
As usual, the assistant coaches Marco Kampf and Daniel Haas work at his side.
Dotchev had recently trained third division club MSV Duisburg.
He was released there on October 7th.
At Aue, he worked as head coach from June 2015 to the end of February 2017 and managed to get promoted back to the 2nd Bundesliga with the Veilchen.
