North Rhine-Westphalia's Interior Minister Herbert Reul (CDU) has warned against plans by the SPD, Greens and FDP for internal security.
Their exploratory paper shows "that this traffic light coalition has little to do with the issue of security," said Reul of the "Rheinische Post" (Friday edition).
"If the traffic light now wants to rebuild the security architecture and speaks of a general overhaul, that is extremely problematic."
Düsseldorf - The traffic light agreement on more prevention and less on repression is wrong.
"The state must show strength and clearly signal that it does not let it dance around", the newspaper quoted the minister as saying.
