Seven people have died and nine others are missing in the fire at an explosives manufacturing plant in Russia's Ryazan region, about 200 km south of Moscow, emergency services said.

A fire broke out at the end of a technological process (...).
Seven people died, one was hospitalized and the fate of nine other people remains unknown,
”said the Ministry of Emergency Situations in a statement.
The incident occurred in a factory specializing in the manufacture of industrial explosives for civilian use, according to the same source.
More than 170 rescuers were dispatched to the scene to contain the fire.

The fire was allegedly caused by a "
