During a youth exchange in Poland, five young people and two supervisors from the Oberhavel district were infected with the corona virus.
However, none of those affected was seriously ill, the district office announced on Friday.
"All of them currently have slight Covid 19 symptoms and they are doing well under the circumstances," said Corona administration clerk Kerstin Niendorf.
Oranienburg - The entire twelve-person tour group was therefore placed under quarantine and should arrive in full in Oberhavel by Saturday morning.
Five young people from the group with a negative PCR result are expected on Friday.

Officials from the Federal Police Inspectorate in Ludwigsdorf took 50 Iraqi, 17 Syrian and 9 Yemeni refugees into custody over the weekend.
In addition, three alleged smugglers were temporarily arrested, one of whom was in custody, as the federal police announced on Monday.
