Eight years after shooting in the rocker milieu in front of a red light in Oberhausen, the police arrested a suspect.
According to a joint statement from the police and public prosecutor on Friday, the 34-year-old was arrested in Duisburg without resistance.
The Mülheimer is said to be brought before a judge for attempted double murder.
Duisburg / Oberhausen - The investigators assume that the member of the Hells Angels 2013 in Oberhausen was involved in the act when a 25-year-old rival of the Bandidos was shot.
The 25-year-old was sitting in the car with his girlfriend in front of a red light.
He was badly injured, his girlfriend slightly.
The 31-year-old alleged shooter and one other person involved (34) are still being searched internationally with an arrest warrant, according to the announcement.
The arrest on Friday is the result of the investigation after a large-scale operation against rocker crime on September 2 in the Rhineland and Ruhr area.
