Those who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus have an easier day-to-day life.
But not all people want to be given the protective injection.
That calls fraudsters on the scene.
Hanover - In Lower Saxony since the beginning of the year more than a hundred cases have been identified for falsified vaccination passports. The number of cases has risen continuously and recently by leaps and bounds, said the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) Lower Saxony at the request of the German Press Agency. "Vaccination cards are relatively easy to forge, for this reason a high number of unreported cases can be assumed," said an LKA spokeswoman. Per investigation case, there could be a larger number of forgeries. The criminal machinations are mostly noticed when people try to obtain digital proof of vaccination with the forged passports in a pharmacy.
Unvaccinated people have recently found it much more difficult in everyday life.
For example, restaurants or theaters can only allow access for vaccinated and convalescent people (2G).
Since October 11th, the rapid tests in the test centers are no longer free for most people.
The LKA spokeswoman could not say whether the sudden increase in the number of falsified vaccination records is related to these changes for unvaccinated people.

The State Office of Criminal Investigation once again called for no photos of real vaccination records, on which batch numbers can be recognized, to be published on social networks. These images could serve as a template for counterfeiters. Back in the spring, forged vaccination certificates were offered, among other things, in the Telegram messenger service for 99 to 250 euros. Telegram is often used by so-called lateral thinkers and vaccination opponents. Counterfeits also appeared at Hanover Airport.
Last week, the Wolfsburg district court convicted a 26-year-old for forging documents because he wanted to have his forged vaccination card digitized in a pharmacy.
According to media reports, the man was noticed because the vaccination certificate only contained the corona vaccination and the two alleged vaccination doctors are dead.
The accused received a fine of 30 daily rates of 20 euros each.
According to media reports, he had worked as an ambulance driver for the Wolfsburg Clinic.
According to dpa information, there is also a case against the man's brother because of a forged vaccination pass.
