Sven Regener (“Herr Lehmann”) lets himself be guided by his own characters when writing.
“These people inspire me.
I invented them myself, but they have a life and character of their own for me, ”said the author and musician on Friday at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
That's why he likes to write about the same people over and over again.
Frankfurt / Main - In his most recent book “Glitterschnitter”, “Herr Lehmann” appears again, the eponymous hero of his successful novel of the same name.
When asked what his books are about, he never finds a satisfactory answer, Regener admitted on the “Blue Sofa”: “That's my big problem, always actually.” If you summarize the plot, it does little Sense.
