Paris is bubbling. The return of the Fiac 2021, after a blank year, has stimulated the enthusiasm of the little planet Art, which is increasingly moving again. Planet, did you say planet? Even if the Chinese and the Japanese remain absent, the 47th edition of the great Parisian art fair succeeded in bringing in Americans, Koreans, Australians, English and all those who remained in Europe at the time of the Brexit. Cohort of “art advisors”, great directors like Max Hollein of the Met, stars like Brad Pitt, “talent scouts” like the Rubells of Miami. In the much smaller perimeter of the ephemeral Grand Palais designed by Wilmotte and under the long white tent that encroaches on the Champ-de-Mars, more than 160 exhibitors are standing shoulder to shoulder to rekindle the flame.
