Two days after its targeting, the White House acknowledged that the Al-Tanf base of the American occupation in the eastern countryside of Homs on the Syrian-Iraqi border was attacked with drones and missiles.
Identical media and local sources reported yesterday that several drones targeted several missiles at the Al-Tanf base of the American occupation, and that the bombing targeted several headquarters there, which led to the ignition of fire, while it was not confirmed that there were deaths or injuries among the occupation forces inside the base.
And the media quoted White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki as saying during a press conference today that the Al-Tanf base “was subjected, in the opinion of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces, to a deliberate and coordinated attack.”
She added, "Initial information indicates that the attack was carried out with drones and missiles."
And Psaki added, "So far, we have not received any information about casualties among the American military. We are still investigating the incident," noting that Washington retained what it described as "its right to respond," as she put it.
And US officials announced yesterday that the Al-Tanf base of the American occupation was targeted by several missiles from drones, while Reuters quoted a US official as saying that he believed that the attack was "a drone."
And the American occupation forces established a military base in the Al-Tanf area since 2014 under the pretext of fighting the terrorist organization “ISIS”, while the facts later confirmed that the American occupation forces took that base from their base as a platform to support the terrorist organizations that are already scattered in the area and those that they brought and assembled from different areas to the Al-Tanf area Among them are groups of ISIS terrorists to be recycled and used in attacking Syrian Arab Army positions, population centers and vital facilities in the Syrian Badia region.
