A 21-year-old is said to have stabbed a 63-year-old with a knife in an apartment building in Walddorfhäslach (Reutlingen district).
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the attack on Thursday, police and prosecutors announced on Friday.
The 63-year-old was therefore operated on and is out of danger to life.
Walddorfhäslach - According to the investigators' previous findings, the young man is said to have rang the 63-year-old's doorbell in the early evening.
When he opened the apartment door, the masked 21-year-old is said to have stabbed suddenly with a knife.
When witnesses rushed to help, the attacker fled.
