Things really started in Nuremberg only at the end of the first half.

First Schuranow aimed past the right post after Nikola Dovedan's skilfully put down, but then Möller Daehli caused the first Franconian jubilation.

Tempelmann served the Norwegian who was lurking in the back area and scored from 17 meters.

Just seconds before half-time, “Club” keeper Christian Mathenia reacted to Tim Kleindienst's header in dire need.

With the 2-0 win by Schuranow, who once again benefited from Tempelmann's preparatory work with his remarkable right-footed shot in the penalty area, the self-confidence of the Nuremberg grew further.

The gaps in the Heidenheim defense became bigger and bigger.

Geis's standard goal and Malone's own goal rounded off the successful afternoon of football for the “club”.
