Britain today recorded 135 deaths and 44,985 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted government data as saying that the total number of infections from the virus reached 8,734,934, while the total deaths across the country reached 139,461 cases.
And injuries in Britain rose during the past week by 15 percent, while the number of deaths rose by 12 percent.
Britain ranks fourth in the list of countries affected by the emerging corona virus, after the United States, India and Brazil.
